Asia Metropolitan College Kuching is a college under the auspices of two giant companies, SMR Group and CREDOR. Asia Metropolitan College Kuching established itself as an allied health and science college since 2010, and it is currently under the leadership of its Chief Executive, Dr. Irene Lau Meng Ing.

The official launch of Kuching campus was officiated Yang Berhormat Dato’ Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin (Ministry of Higher Education) on June 28th, 2011. The campus is equipped with essential state-of-the-art facilities and laboratories to keep abreast of the latest industrial trend, thereby enriching student’s learning experience. AMC is focused on producing trained, qualified and competent graduates for domestic and international markets in health sciences and various other disciplines. Moving forward, AMC Kuching aims to be the college of choice in Sarawak.

AMC is located strategically near several hypermarkets, sports complex, banking facilities, restaurants, and a bus terminal. Approximately 700 students have graduated from AMC Kuching since 2010 in various Health Sciences Diploma Programs such as Healthcare, Environmental Health, Physiotherapy, Medical Laboratory Technology and Foundation in Health Sciences.

All of the programs offered at AMC are accredited by MQA and approved by KPT in collaboration with the Malaysia’s Ministry of Health. The latest development is the establishment of Employment Placement Unit as a hub to provide the out – going students and our alumni with information regarding job market trend and current job vacancies state-wide. AMC strives for continuous improvement, and has reshaped and repositioned itself to meet the ever challenging and competitive landscape of Malaysian job market, especially in Allied Health and Sciences, by providing and preparing its graduates with the right skills and knowledge.
